“In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.”
Ruling No 1: The minimum period of purity (tuhoor) between two haidh periods is fifteen days. There is no maximum period. Hence, a woman will remain pure as long as she does not bleed, even if it extends to several months or years.
Ruling No: If a day or more of purity falls within the ten day (24 hour) period of menstruation, it will be treated as continuously flowing blood. For example: A woman bleeds for three days and then does not see blood for two days. Then, she bleeds again for one day; all six days will be considered as her haidh – menstruation.
Ruling No: If a woman bleeds for three days and three nights and thereafter remains pure for fifteen days and again bleeds for three days and three nights, then the former and latter three days and three nights will be the periods of haidh and the fifteen days will be the days of tuhoor (purity).
Ruling No:If a woman bleeds for one or two days and then remains pure for fifteen days, and thereafter bled for one or two days again, then the fifteen days will be the period of tuhoor (purity) and the former and latter one or two days will not be haidh, rather it will be istihaadah.

Answer: The bleeding at the beginning of may & at the end of may will be haidh as it was 3 days & nights.
Ruling No: If a woman sees blood before the completion of 15 purity days (tuhoor), then she will look back to her very last valid purity days & those number of days will be regarded as her tuhoor. For e.g if it was 23 days, then this month too, she will continue praying for 23 days.
A tuhoor (purity gap) will be considered valid if:
•It is 15 days & nights (360 hours) or more.
•Is not stained with any blood / spotting.
•Is preceded & followed by a valid bleeding
Note: A valid bleeding is between 3-10 days (72-240 hours) and is preceded & followed by a valid tuhoor.
