بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.”

Ruling No 1: It is not  waajib (compulsory) for a woman to make up for the missed salaah due to her haidh, however she will have to make up for the fasts she misses in Ramadhaan.

Ruling No 2: If a woman begins to bleed while offering her fardh salaah, that salaah will also be excused. After her haidh she does not have to make qadha of it. However, if she was offering an optional or sunnah salaah, she will have to make qadha of it.

Ruling No 3: If a woman begins to bleed at the end of a salaah time and has not offered her salaah as yet, she will be excused from that salaah and she will not have to make up for it.

Ruling No 4: If a woman had haidh for less than ten days and she stopped bleeding at such a time that so little time was left to offer her salaah, that if she had to rush and have a bath, and after bathing so little time is left for that salaah time, that she could only say Allahu Akbar and make her intention and could not read anything further, even then the salaah of that time will become wajib on her. She will have to make qadha of it. If the time left is even less than this, that salaah will be excused and she does not have to make qadha of that salaah.

Ruling No 5: During menstruation, it is recommended (mustahab) for a woman that she performs wudhu at the time of prayer, sit where she normally prays, and engage herself in the remembrance of Allaah, so that she does not lose the habit of praying or become lazy.
